This hall, stairs and landing at Ranmoor, Sheffield, was a mammoth painting and decorating project for Drew Decor. Preparation alone took days, but when we were happy with the prep work, the ceilings and wood work could be painted. We applied white satinwood on the wood work and white matt on the ceilings. Once the paint work was finished and dry we could get on with the task of hanging the wallpaper. The customer choose a Zoffany wallpaper which, as you can see, was an excellent choice. The Zoffany wallpaper gives this hall, stairs and landing an elegant and luxurious look that suits the property.
Eccelsall, Sheffield
This Victorian staircase situated in Eccelsall, Sheffield, was a pleasure to work on.
The customer wanted to decorate the hall, stairs and landing in the style of the house.
Anagylpta was chosen for the walls that were to be painted. Once the most important stage of the project was finished, the stripping of old wallpaper and preparation, we cross-lined the walls and painted the wood work. Anaglypta was hung and painted in traditional colours. The green colours make this staircase feel fresh and light.
Millhouses, Sheffield
Another Victorian hall, stairs and landing at Millhouses, Sheffield. This time we were to strip back the many layers of paint back to the bone and prepare the hell out of it. Once the prep work was finished and the mouldings on the staircase were back to its former glory, we then applied four layers of paint to leave a crisp finish. The fresh new plaster on the ceilings and walls were to be painted in a durable emulsion. The light colour on the walls makes this vast staircase look bright without much natural daylight.
Moorgate, Rotherham
Adding the wow factor is defiantly what this staircase does. Located on Moorgate Road, Rotherham. This staircase was prepared and painted before the main stair wall was papered with a Cole & Son wallcovering. The dark blue colour on the main stair wall provides this hall, stairs and landing the wow factor.
Stumperlowe, Sheffield
G P & J Baker wallpaper was used to transform this hall, stairs and landing at Stumperlowe, Sheffield. Wood work and ceilings were perfectly painted before this alluring wallpaper was hung to perfection. The yellow colours makes this hall, stairs and landing warm and welcoming.
