We have used Drew Decor to decorate many rooms now, due to the excellent service they provide from start to finish. Richard is always very approachable, and responds in a timely fashion to messages. The team are reliable, punctual and all very friendly. Their work is thorough and to such a high standard. We will continue to choose them for all future projects as can’t imagine anywhere else could provide a better service.

Richard and Harry have just finished redecorating my lounge. After many years of 'playing it safe' I finally went with my gut feelings and have bold crimson and gold William Morris wallpaper, a classic Anaglypta ("Wilton" pattern) on the ceiling and frieze and Richard has fitted coving which transforms the appearance of the ceiling entirely. Everything above the picture rail is painted an opulent golden shade ("Bassoon"). Gloss work around the window and on the radiator is a bold red to match the wallpaper background and - as always with Drew Decor - the finish is utterly amazing. It feels like walking in to a National Trust parlour rather than a 1928 semi's lounge! Words cannot do justice to the finish and appearance and I've already asked for a quote for further work elsewhere in the house. First class work as ever: thankyou

We've had Drew Decor in several times now to decorate multiple rooms in our house (bedrooms, bathroom, landing and stairs). They're always a pleasure to work with - high standard of work, completed in reasonable time, helpful, good communication, realistic quotes which they adhere to (unless we choose to make changes) easy to book in, view estimates and pay, friendly and reliable staff, respectful of our home, belongings and family life. We will be asking them back again to do further work as we continue to decorate our house.

I contacted Richard after he was highly recommended by a family friend. I asked Richard to quote for painting a two bedroom flat. Richard was efficient in attending the flat and providing a comprehensive quotation.

The team attended the flat and carried out the work in 4 days. My husband was working on the bathroom of the flat at the same time and can say they were trustworthy, reliable and efficient.

We have just had Richard to decorate our back bedroom/garden room and what a brilliant job he did. Richard and Sam did a great job decorating my lounge. Richard came to view the job and supplied me with a quote the next day. Suzanne helped me to decide on wallpaper, paint and fabrics.
The team arrived on time, they were all courteous throughout the time they were with me. The standard of their work is exceptional, they made sure they left my lounge clean and tidy at the end of each working day. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.

We contacted Richard for support when part of a clients ceiling in an old Edwardian house needed to be repaired. The repair was carried out by our plastering partners but left a situation where 1/2 the wallpaper on the ceiling needed to be replaced and the whole room redecorated. Richard was called to support regarding the decorating.

Not only was he able to find a wallpaper pattern to match the existing 16 year old installation, but he carefully matched it in and avoiding us having to re-paper the whole ceiling. He then painted all the covings, frieze and ceiling to a very high standard so the ceiling was back to its former glory.

Our client is very happy with the work carried out and we're extremely pleased with the final outcome.

Richard's regular advert in our local magazine gave me the confidence to approach his wife, Suzanne, in her interior design store on Ecclesall Rd and start the ball rolling for a major overhaul to the inside of our house. Mainly painting but some wallpapering. Many cracks in walls/ceilings had appeared over the last 20 years and lots of grubby marks. Suzanne and Richard visited our house in Oct 23, took photos and measurements for quotes that turned out to be very close to the final cost despite changing the sequence of work later. Each phase occurred at the booked time. Phase 1 (Dec 23): 2 weeks of 2 men painting/wallpapering the attic bedroom & bathroom, then painting the attic & first floor landing including the huge wall from the roof. The quality of work was fantastic - smooth finishes, all the cracks gone, pristine lines and amazing symmetry in the hanging of wallpaper! They were extremely tidy and the carpets were hoovered at the end of everyday. Phase 2 (Feb 24): 1 week with 6 men (we went away). Everyone was polite and easy to talk to. All were conscientious and very hard working to get the job done in such a short time. This involved wallpapering a bedroom and one wall in the hall. Painting the rest of the stairs, hall, porch, pantry, lounge and kitchen/dining room including the dreaded ceilings. Nothing was a problem. Great suggestions for paint colours and wallpapers. Two sets of blinds also organised and fitted the week after. We fully recommend Richard and Suzanne.

Dealing with Drew Decor has been a pleasure. They decorated our lounge and it looks fabulous. Callum was so lovely and Richard re-enforced the radiator fixings as he felt they weren't strong enough. They are coming back to paint our kitchen next month.

Had our lounge, hall, stairs and landing refreshed by team Drew in Jan 2024 and were yet again massively impressed with the quality of work an finish. The team went the extra mile with preparation and finishing touches, even repairing flaws from our own previous decorating blunders, leaving a great all round finish.

Our hall stairs and landing were in dire need of remedial work. I had visited Drew Decor Store a few times looking for inspiration and had found something I was really happy with. We were impressed by the emphasis Drew Décor place on preparation and asked Richard to quote. He looked very carefully at every aspect of the area, and took plenty of photos as well as measurements. We accepted his quote and agreed a start date. On the day, and throughout the work, the team was well briefed and organised – work was carried out efficiently, to a very high standard. Cleaning at the end of each day was exemplary - the clever sander/vacuum combination drastically reduces dust! We are delighted with the result and now have a lovely entrance to our home. Drew Decor will be our first choice for future decorating projects!

The team spruced up our entire kitchen to a fantastic standard, it really does look brand new again. A great wok ethic, left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day, cannot find fault with them and they never refused a cup of tea! Would definitely use them again.

Recently completed exterior paintwork to the back of the house. Done to an excellent standard with minimum mess. Planning the next job later this year.

I can only confirm what's been said in previous reviews. They started a few days late, which is pretty good given the pandemic problems, and put in a shift to repaint the whole interior for Christmas. There was good communication about our requirements and about how to manage repainting every room while we were living there. The work was top notch - 4 weeks on, I'm still looking at it and thinking how pleased I am with it. The staff were professional, courteous and took appropriate CoVID-19 precautions. Highly recommended.

I recently used Drew Decor for the first time and I have to say I was very impressed with the job they did. They always arrived exactly when they said they would, got on with the job and were polite and friendly. They spent a whole day prepping the hall and staircase which meant that the final job looked really good. My hallway looks great and I am 100% satisfied with the work they carried out. Richard recently decorated our hallway, stairs and landing. From the moment we arranged for Richard to provide a quote, he was reliable and efficient. He always turned up when he said he would (despite heavy snow on several days!) He worked really hard and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Richard's team have just completed the exterior of my house for the second time - the first time they did it in 2015 was so good that it really didn't need doing again until now. Superb work again and I've no doubt it'll last a good 5 years or so again. The original 94 year old window frames on two sides of the house look like they have been newly installed, and where new windows have been fitted on another elevation the paintwork on the rendering is so good that you can't tell there's been any alterations at all. Attention to detail is phenomenal. As always I unhesitatingly highly recommend Drew Decor for top quality work at a very fair price. Thanks guys!

Richard Drew has worked at my home on three occasions. His work is always of a high standard and he takes care to protect your furnishings by covering them well. Richard will help you chose appropriate colours and textures to complement your decor. He is reliable and trustworthy and you can feel confident to leave him working in your home. His work is very good quality, he meets the deadlines he sets himself and gives excellent service and value for money.

Richard decorated my dining room at my previous property which I was extremely satisfied with and has just completed work on one of my bedrooms in my new house. The ceilings and walls were in a very poor condition and he and Callum prepared and sanded these down and hung wallrock fibre liner and caulked all the edges ready for decorating. The job was done with the minimum of disruption and at less than half the cost of having the room re-plastered. Drew Decor carry out first class work and are punctual, professional and friendly.

Richard and his team decorated our newly acquired two bedroomed flat. They did a really wonderful job. We arranged a date in advance and he was flexible and easy to communicate with when dates had to be adjusted. The team were excellent, very tidy and a very high standard of workmanship. Richard has done an excellent job decorating our large through lounge and office room. He organised the plasterer to board and skim our ceiling, before stripping the wallpaper, replacing coving, preparing, lining the walls and painting.

It’s difficult to explain in only a few sentences how fantastic Richard Drew and his team really are. On the first visit we discussed our requirements and he offered some great advice about the finish and colour scheme. You might be able to get a cheaper price, but I think he is very reasonable and worth every penny when you consider the preparation that was required and the quality of their work. The results in our lounge and dining room have quite honestly left me and my wife speechless and we are very happy with the dramatic colour that we chose. When I managed to mark one of our newly painted walls after just a few days, Richard came back to give the paint another coat for us at no extra cost.
