Everyone works really hard to make sure that customers receive the very best service possible, but more than that, they genuinely care. They have a real pride in the work they do and they’re passionate about helping people and representing our business in the best possible light, always.

I have a lifelong passion for interior design that began in my early twenties when I started travelling to London regularly to visit my cousin who had her own boutique clothes shop on New Kings Road. There I fell in love with all the interior shops along that road and there was one shop in particular called India Jane that set my heart on fire. It’s been a journey of discovery ever since. We live in such a great city, and I could see that it was time we had our own luxury interior design and styling presence, making good design much more accessible to Sheffield and the surrounding areas. I know our clients really appreciate this. I spend my spare time with my family and our fearless cocker spaniel, Teddy, who looks as good as gold but keeps me on my toes. My favourite film is Top Gun because it has a mixture of romance, high impact action and what’s not to love about Tom Cruise in a uniform?!

I started decorating as soon as I left school and then went on on to further education gaining qualifications in design covering specialist paint effects. At 21 I joined the Royal Marines and had three operational tours in the Middle East, collecting 2 medals along the way. Five years later I decided to set up my own high quality decorating business in Sheffield. I like watching sport and spending time with family, I don't like bad time keeping and a lack of sleep. For my hobbies I love to watch my boy play sport and I often walk in the Peak District. My favourite film is A Few Good Men, my favourite band is The XX and my favourite holiday destination is Portugal.

I am a professional artist and illustrator. I have loved drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil. I started my career as an Architect where I learned the pen control needed to illustrate intuitively. I also spent thirteen years lecturing in Interior Design at University level. Nurturing my student’s creativity was a joy but my own creativity was beckoning. When I joined the team at Drew Decor, I knew I would really be able to flex my creative muscles here. My illustration work keeps evolving and now has an interior design focus. I love creating artistic impressions for our clients so they can see how their whole look will come together. I spend my spare time with my partner and our two very naughty Bengal cats, Tamara and Talulah, who regularly throw the books off my bookshelves whenever they want my attention. My favourite film is Catherine Deneuve’s 1964 The Umbrellas of Cherbourg because of the way fashion meets interior design so completely. So much so that I wrote a blog about it here.

I have always had a designer’s eye. Photography, interiors and art are my passion. When I am looking through the massive array of colours and patterns at Drew Decor I love paying attention to detail. I am able to finely tune a look so that every colour is just right while also having an interesting range of textures. My favourite film is the original 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I love it because of all the sweets, the chocolate river and the lick-able wallpaper. We don’t have lick-able wallpaper in the shop yet but I’m working on it. In my spare time I design t-shirts, photograph flowers and practice my photo shop skills. I am a fan of the theatre, and my favourite is the Rock of Ages as I just want to get up and dance. I just generally love to be creative so working at Drew Decor allows me to express myself and push boundaries.

Hello, I have been decorating for 30 years; I started with my Father who was a reputable decorator in Sheffield. I have worked for a number of decorating companies working on new builds, private homes and small commercial jobs. I have known Richard for over 10 years through family and playing football. We are a close knit team that get on really well and produce top quality work. I really like Moto GP, riding motor bikes and sport in general. I'm not overly keen indigestion, snow and cucumber. For hobbies I like to build motorbikes. My favourite film is Platoon, my favourite band is The Foo Fighters and my favourite place to go on holiday is Ibiza.

I’m in my 5th year of Painting and Decorating with Drew Decor, and I would now class myself as an established and experienced painter and decorator, especially considering the help, advice, and guidance I’ve been able to lean on from Richard and Chris. I’m a keen hard worker that likes to get stuck in. Since I joined Drew Decor, Richard and Chris have made me feel really welcome and a valuable member of the team. Onwards and upwards. When I'm not decorating, I like playing football or snooker, I love watching films or good TV box sets with my favourite being Band of Brothers. I don't like rain or hay fever. For my hobbies I like to go and play snooker and I'm an avid supporter of Sheffield United, so I go and watch them as often as I can. My favourite Film is Saving Private Ryan, my favourite band is Oasis, and my favourite holiday destination is Ibiza.

Hello, I'm Sam and I've been with the Drew Decor team for 4 years now, so like Callum I would class myself as an established painter and decorator with a long future of painting and decorating ahead of me, hopefully. But I’m always up for learning, so I’m always picking up tips, tricks, and experience from the rest of the team when it comes to painting and decorating. I think, I hope, I've become an important member of the Drew Decor Painting and Decorating Team and I'm really enjoying it. I really enjoy a good superhero or action film and my favourite is Avengers Infinity War. My favourite TV show is The Walking Dead. I love gaming and I'm a big music listener. I can’t say that I have a favourite band as such, I just like what I like, and whatever is played on Radio 2 and Radio 6. When it comes to dislikes, I'm not too keen on Ferrets but I can't think of anything else I’m not keen on. For hobbies I love going to the cinema and the gym and my favourite holiday destination is Bora Bora.

Hello, I’m Brad and I’m an apprentice with the brilliant Drew Decor painting and decorating team. I won the apprentice of the year award at Sheffield College (for the whole college, not just in painting and decorating) so I’m really keen to build on that and establish myself as a valued member of the team. I’m sure that with the help and support of the rest of the lads, I’ll get there pretty quickly, because I’m really keen to learn and improve and I always have been. I like all kinds of things, but I suppose I’d have to say that motorbikes are my main passion, and eating out. My favourite film is Split, my favourite holiday destination is Benidorm and I’m not at all keen on Spiders, especially when they run!

Hello, my name is Joe and I’m the newbie in the team. I’m an apprentice like Brad, so we’re learning steeply and quickly now that we’re a part of such a well-respected painting and decorating business. It’s great to be with the team and I’m picking things up every day. We work on such a big range of amazing properties and every job throws up new challenges which I like. The rest of the team say I look like Robbie Williams did in the 90’s, although I’m not sure that Robbie would be as good with a brush in his hand? Mind you, I’m not as good with a microphone in my hand, so I suppose we’re even. I like all kinds of things with my favourite film being the Star Wars Trilogy. I’m also into gaming on the X-Box, I like formula 1 with my favourite team being Red Bull and my favourite band is Linkin Park. If I could go on holiday anywhere, I would choose LA, and I don’t like insects and spiders like the rest of the team.

I’m Harry and I’ve been a painter and decorator for 5 years now. During those 5 years I’ve managed to gain quite a lot of experience, but when you look around the rest of the Drew Decor Painting and Decorating Team, you quickly realise there is more to learn or at least make improvements on. But the team have made me feel very welcome and we get on great, so it’s easy to discuss different and better ways of painting and decorating. As for likes, well, these aren’t in any particular order, and some people will laugh, but off the top of my head I’d say my favourite things are gaming, snooker, and pork. I don’t really watch films or TV much and my favourite holiday destination is Japan. When it comes to dislikes, I’m not keen on spiders or anything that flies or buzzes. They’re annoying.
